Student Employee, HR Operations / People Operations / Human Resources (m/f/d)

Your tasks

To support our team, we are currently looking for a working student in HR Operations (m/f/d) to work approximately 20 hours per week in Cologne, starting immediately. The position is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract—offering the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a modern HR team.

Would you like to gain practical HR experience while you're in school and get a behind-the-scenes look at modern HR work? Then join our team!

Your responsibilities:

  • You'll support our HR Operations team in their day-to-day work.
  • You maintain employee master data and prepare HR-related documents.
  • You will support administrative HR processes—from the time our employees join the company until they leave.
  • You will create analyses, reports, and presentations.
  • You will actively contribute to HR projects and to the further development of our HR system, Personio.
  • You are the point of contact for colleagues regarding administrative HR matters.

Your profile

  • You are enrolled in a degree program, ideally in business administration, economics, human resources management, business psychology, or a similar field of study.
  • You're interested in HR topics and digital processes.
  • You work in an organized, thorough, and independent manner.
  • You are proficient in using MS Office, especially Excel.
  • You have an analytical mindset and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You have a very good command of German and a good command of English.

Our offer

  • €1,400–1,500 gross per month for a 20-hour workweek (depending on qualifications and experience)
  • Flexible work hours and the option to work remotely—so you can balance your studies and your job perfectly.
  • Fascinating insights into the HR work of a modern company.
  • Tasks that require independent responsibility rather than merely assisting others.
  • Quick decision-making processes, a helpful team, and an open corporate culture.
  • 30 days of vacation (based on a 5-day workweek), Urban Sports Club, corporate benefits, and regular team events.
