Network Engineer – Cisco Specialist (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Together with the team, you will ensure smooth and secure network operations for our customers and their international locations.
- In Incidents, you confidently guide your customers through the situation, coordinate with carriers and manufacturers, and stay in control.
- Proactively preventing problems and keeping your customers in the loop—that's important to you.
- Optimizing, automating, and documenting are part of your daily tasks.
Your profile
- Ideally, you have several years of hands-on experience in the field and in troubleshooting complex network environments—whether on a campus, in a data center, or on a WAN.
- Cisco is your tech home: You should have a solid understanding of routing and switching (CCNP-level knowledge is a helpful guideline, not a requirement) as well as experience with Cisco Meraki. What matters most is your practical know-how, not your certification.
- WAN and SD-WAN topics (e.g., Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela, IPSec VPN, BGP, QoS) are nothing new to you—you’ll deepen your expertise with us through vendor-led training and a team that has been operating global WANs for over 20 years.
- Structured troubleshooting is your strength: You work your way systematically toward the root cause instead of guessing.
- You communicate with customers, carriers, and manufacturers as equals—even when things get hectic.
- You're open to new ideas, tech-savvy, and eager to keep improving yourself and your technical skills.
- You have a strong command of both spoken and written German and English.
