Student Intern in Information Security (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Smart AI support:

You will help set up and maintain internal AI knowledge databases (e.g., RAG systems / directory vectorization using modern LLM environments such as Claude) to partially automate recurring compliance requests from the sales team as well as customer surveys.

ISMS Support:

Together with our Group CISO and the security team, you will continuously maintain our Information Security Management System (ISMS) for the entire group.

Audit Preparation & Tracking:

You will assist in preparing for internal and external audits (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001 audits or supplier audits) and document the follow-up on corrective actions (audit findings) in a structured manner in Jira.

Data and Asset Management:

You will be responsible for carefully maintaining and updating our internal asset and supplier registry.

Your profile

You are currently pursuing a degree in information security, cybersecurity, business informatics, computer science or a comparable program.  
You have a strong interest in cybersecurity, IT compliance, and modern GRC processes.
You have a strong affinity for modern AI tools (e.g., LLMs like Claude or ChatGPT) and are eager to dive deep into prompt engineering and the development of AI-powered knowledge bases—no in-depth programming or development skills are required.
You work carefully, analytically, and reliably, and enjoy solving IT security challenges as part of a team.  
You are known for your customer-focused approach, your communication skills, and your ability to work well with others.  
Excellent German language skills and good English language skills round out your profile.
