(Senior) Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

As a Cyber Defense Engineer, you will work with the team to plan, implement and continuously develop the IT security infrastructure.
You enjoy operating and developing existing security tools based on current threats and trends.
The automation of rule and project activities (Detection & Response as Code) and Incident Response Run Books is a matter of course for you and will be implemented by you independently in our SOAR platform.
In addition, you will actively contribute to the further development of the internal tool suite.
As an experienced engineer, you are also a mentor and actively share your knowledge.

Your profile

You are a good fit for us if you have successfully completed your training as an IT specialist or your studies in computer science and have several years of professional experience in security operations or comparable qualifications and experience.
Very good knowledge of the Python programming language and additional experience with other programming languages is an advantage.
You already have knowledge of various IT security technologies (SOAR, EDR/EPP, SIEM, NDR/IDS/IPS). Experience with Microsoft, SentinelOne, and Palo Alto products is an advantage.
Team spirit, commitment and personal responsibility are among your strengths.
Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English round off your profile.
