Cyber Security Analyst & Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

As a 3rd level analyst, you are in charge of analyzing and coordinating security events. You will also be actively involved in incident response situations.
As a Cyber Defense Engineer, you will work with the team to plan, implement and continuously develop the IT security infrastructure.
You enjoy operating and developing existing security tools based on current threats and trends.
The automation of rule and project activities (Detection & Response as Code) and Incident Response Run Books is a matter of course for you and will be implemented by you independently in our SOAR platform.
As an experienced analyst, you are also a mentor and actively pass on your knowledge.

Your profile

You will fit in with us if you have successfully completed your training as an IT specialist or your studies in computer science and have several years of professional experience in security operations.
You have experience in the analysis and forensics of Microsoft infrastructures.
Very good knowledge of the Python programming language and additional experience with other programming languages is an advantage.
You already have knowledge of various IT security technologies (SOAR, EDR/EPP, SIEM, NDR/IDS/IPS). Experience in Microsoft, SentinelOne and Palo Alto products and their query languages (KQL, Powerquery) is an advantage.
Team spirit, commitment and personal responsibility are among your strengths.
Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English round off your profile.
